Noblesville is the county seat of Hamilton County, Indiana. It occupies 19.1 square miles and is located 23 miles northeast of Indianapolis. According to the 2020 United States Census, the town had a population of 69,604 people. This is slightly more than an 23% increase from the 2010 census and it also allowed the city to up its rank from 14th to 10th largest in the state. 

While Indiana's general business climate has been ranked in the top ten for the fourth consecutive year by Site Selection, Noblesville is proud of the growth and development that it is experiencing. One example of this is the $55 million dollar cyclotron project, Positron Corp, is planning to open a facility that makes isotopes used by cardiac PET scans. The city is also set to receive a $749 thousand dollar grant for road construction and improvement. 

Noblesville also offers its residents a wide variety of educational options. The town is home to seven elementary schools, one middle school, one intermediate school and one high school. The school system has had over 80% of its students pass the states ISTEP testing. There also has seven different universities within 35 miles of the town.

The history of the area, which is now Hamilton County, goes back to 1818 when the land was purchased from the local Native Americans by the Federal Government. The first settlers in the area, two men by the names of Conner and Polk, laid out downtown Noblesville in 1823. Natural gas was discovered near 11th and Pleasant street in 1888 which caused most of the Downtown Commercial district to be built. While this marked the first population boom for the area the second occurred between the year 2000 and the present day as the county population nearly doubled.
