Cory Pfaffenberger

1644 Fry Road, Suite A Greenwood, IN 46142

Having grown up in the industry, Cory always knew her career would have something to do with real estate. Cory watched her mom have a successful career as a real estate tax assessor, for both the White River Township and the Johnson County's Assessor Offices. When Cory was graduating from Whiteland High School, she had a conversation with her mom about getting her real estate salesperson license or becoming an appraiser. Naturally, being the 'rebellious' baby adult she was, Cory chose to go to college for Secondary Education with a focus on social sciences like Psychology, Sociology, Gov and Econ. Ultimately, she realized that her heart wasn't in it, and decided to leave college. She knew she still wanted to help others and educate folks, but wasn't sure how she could do it without becoming a teacher.

In 2017, after the birth of her daughter Camila, Cory was given the opportunity to work for a real estate tech start-up and of course she had to jump on it. She knew after just a few weeks of finally working in the industry that she had finally found a career path that was perfect for her and her family. She quickly rose through every position possible, from Customer Service to being a Client Advisor, and later worked in Accounts Receivable and helped build out an entirely new team.

“I’m very grateful to be a part of the Scott Smith Realty Group, learning from local industry leaders and helping my community. In the Inside Sales Agent (ISA) role, I call all of our prospective, past & current clients. I am essentially here to educate our clients on the very beginning stages of buying or selling a home, before even speaking to an agent. I enjoy hearing their needs and their personalities come through in conversation - it allows me to hand-select the perfect agent on our team to help them. When I’m not busy in the office, you can usually find me putting on full Broadway theatrical productions with my daughter in my kitchen, working on fiber arts crafts, collecting books, snuggling with my boxer pupperino, Valken, or binge-watching New Girl (again).”
